Step into the future

As we look toward 2026, our homes are becoming so much more than the spaces we live in, they are where we restore, reconnect and express ourselves. And the flooring beneath our feet is increasingly setting the tone, shaping how a room feels and functions.

Our product design team have identified three key trends for the year ahead that will define how we will design and live in our homes. So, from calming nature inspired style to caring for our health and expressing our individuality, we investigate how Karndean flooring can help you bring these looks to life.

Restorative, nature inspired design

Next year, the healing properties of the natural world will inspire more of us to bring serenity and connection into our home. Grounding colour palettes in soft earthy shades will be increasingly popular alongside gentle wood tones, organic textures and the quiet luxury of stone.

It’s no surprise then that warm neutrals are our most popular designs, showing that this timeless aesthetic is here to stay. Designs such as Glacier Oak perfectly captures this sense of tranquillity, with soft movement and an authentic grain detail that mirrors the look of real wood. And darker woods, like our new Nutmeg Limed Oak, are making a welcome comeback, offering colour depth and sophistication that feels enduring and reassuring.

Homes that protect our wellbeing

Wellbeing continues to shape how we design our homes and flooring is playing a bigger role than ever. Karndean flooring offers a hygienic alternative to carpet, helping you create a fresher, cleaner environment, something that’s especially important for allergy sufferers or households with pets.

Our smooth, non-porous surfaces won’t harbour dust or allergens, making them incredibly easy to maintain. Our collections include a wide range of wood and stone designs that combine a naturally inspired aesthetic with the peace of mind that comes from a clean, low-maintenance home.

So, whether you love the classic style of Natural Limestone, the unique textural details of Lunar Limestone or you want to create something unique with a combination of wood and stone designs, with Karndean you know that beauty and wellbeing will go hand in hand.

Adaptable floors for bold, eclectic homes

We are also celebrating a rise in personality-filled interiors, where people are expressing themselves freely. From colour-drenched rooms to global influences like Japandi serenity or Mediterranean vibrancy, we are here to help you mix styles with confidence and let your personality shine.

Our collections are designed to empower creativity, offering endless options in colour, texture and layout. You might pair the honeyed tones of Honey Oak with the refined elegance of Frosted Marble, or make a statement with the playful geometric designs of Montpellier. Whatever your vision, Karndean allows you to design fearlessly and live comfortably.
